Making space for curiosity, wonder, and God.
What changes when we become curious about what children notice, wonder, and experience in their life with God?
If you are a meaningful adult in a child's life—a parent, grandparent, auntie or uncle, godparent, or family friend—and you're curious about how to journey with that child in their life of faith, join the conversation!
In this Community Practice Lab, we'll explore what it means to become more attuned to the spiritual lives of children.
Through learning, shared conversation, and collective wisdom, we'll explore ways we can nurture children's curiosity and wonder about God.
As an embodied practice, we'll create a set of Advent prayer beads that you can share with a child in your life. It is a simple, tangible way to help kids conceptualize prayer, and make space for conversation about the wonder and love of God during the Advent season.
Yelena will host this Community Practice Lab.
Because of the nature of this gathering — personal, experimental, and communal — space is limited to 18 participants.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Yelena at yelena@commons.church.

What is a Community Practice Lab?
The idea is quite simple: we gather to learn something new, draw on the wisdom of one another, and engage in an embodied practice that we can carry into our everyday lives.
It's a space to explore ideas, have meaningful conversations, and try something together.
We get to practice becoming the kind of community we want to be.
